Branding the Hen Zone, an edgy basement gaming space for prideful and nostalgic Blue Hens alike.

Objective
Integrate the University of Delaware branding into key Hen Zone components to give the space a sense of place and the games a prideful Blue Hen edge. Develop a complimentary marketing campaign supporting the navigation and awareness of the new space.

Experiential Design + Facility Branding​

The Hen Zone game room underwent a massive renovation in 2018. The garage doors unveiled an edgy, new, and improved gaming and hangout space. The quad air hockey table was branded with a vintage aviator blue hen cockpit design, and the top was configured to match highlighting airplanes and blue skies. The other two branded components were a UD soccer foosball table and a UD ice hockey bubble hockey. 

With a fresh face and exciting improvements, the game room is open for fun, section rentals, or off-hour reservations. Located on the lower level of Perkins Student Center, the Hen Zone is open daily throughout the semester. Students can play recreationally or enjoy friendly competition in billiards, foosball, table tennis, quad air hockey, board games, and a wide selection of PlayStation3, Wii U, and Xbox One video games.
